External Awards for Yale Students and Alums

At Yale, the institutional evaluation and nomination processes for the following fellowships are coordinated by Fellowship Programs. See the Yale Student Grants Database for details of campus application deadlines and procedures, as well as links to official websites for other important information. Fellowship Programs staff offer advice on these awards to Yale applicants, including Yale College alumni and current Yale graduate and professional students.

Yale-China English Teaching Fellowship

Supports two years teaching English at one of five host institutions. Eligible are graduating seniors and recent alumni of Yale College (US citizenship not required, nor is knowledge of Mandarin).
Application deadlines typically in December and March.
