What Are Fellowships?

Fellowships are funding! They are competitive, merit-based monetary awards that support a wide range of activities across disciplines. These include:

  • Research
  • Internships
  • Projects
  • Study Abroad

Planning Your Fellowship Search

Before you begin your fellowship search, consider the following questions:

  • What kind of project or experience would you like to fund?
  • When do you plan to pursue the funded activity?
  • Where will the activity take place?

Fellowship applications have deadlines. Make sure to give yourself enough time by starting your search early and planning ahead!
