Many students apply for Yale funding for summer experiences - research, study, internships, or independent projects. In addition, some apply for non-Yale or external funding opportunites. Some non-Yale fellowships require a campus application process (Truman/Goldwater). Learn more about the timeline and how to identify, prepare, and apply for some of these fellowships:

Junior year is a great time to begin to explore funding opportunites to support public service and independent projects, research, internships, and graduate study. Deadlines for some postgraduate fellowships begin as early as the August before senior year so it's helpful to review the application process early!
