What Are My Options?

When thinking about funding your student experience, consider fellowships, the International Study Award (ISA), financial aid, and also alternatives such as fundraising.

International Study Award (ISA)

The International Study Award (ISA) offers a stipend for one summer study abroad experience to Yale College students who receive a Yale scholarship. Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria in order to request ISA funds.

Summer Experience Award (SEA)

The Summer Experience Award (SEA) provides a stipend for either a domestic or international internship or research opportunity to Yale College first-years, sophomores, and juniors on Yale financial aid. SEA is administered by the Office of Career Strategy (OCS).

Financial Aid

Yale College students who study abroad for a semester or year are eligible to apply for financial aid. For further information about Yale College's financial aid visit the Financial Aid website.

Study Abroad Scholarships

Non-Yale scholarships that can fund study abroad programs, curated by the Yale Study Abroad Office.

Alternative Funding Options
